BLINN COLLEGE MUSIC DEPT. TO PRESENT FREE END-OF-SEMESTER CONCERTS

  

The Blinn College District Music Department will hold seven end-of-semester concerts on the Brenham Campus, including performances by instrumental and vocal ensembles.

All of the concerts are free and open to the public. No tickets or reservations are needed. They will also be streamed live on the Blinn College Music YouTube Channel.

The concerts will be held in Finke Recital Hall in the Schmidt Building (800 College Ave.) or the Dr. W.W. O’Donnell Performing Arts Center (600 Blinn Blvd.).

Performances are:

  • Woodwind Ensemble, Monday, April 29, 7 p.m. in Finke Recital Hall;
  • Jazz Ensemble, Tuesday, April 30, 7 p.m. in the O’Donnell Center;
  • Brass Ensemble, Wednesday, May 1, 7 p.m. at the O’Donnell Center;
  • Concert and Chamber Choirs, Thursday, May 2, 7 p.m. in Finke Recital Hall;
  • Symphonic Band, Friday, May 3, 7 p.m. in the O’Donnell Center;
  • Percussion Ensemble and Steel Band, Saturday, May 4, 7 p.m. in the O’Donnell Center;
  • and Wind Symphony, Sunday, May 5, 5 p.m. in the O’Donnell Center.

“The Music Department has some incredibly talented students, and these free concerts allow us to share their talents with the public,” said Todd Quinlan, Performing Arts Department Head.
