BRENHAM MAN CHARGED WITH BREAKING INTO VEHICLES

A Brenham man was arrested early Saturday, charged with breaking into vehicles.
Brenham Police report that early Saturday morning at 1:15, Officers responded to the 2200 block of Old Chappell Hill Road in reference to a burglary of a vehicle. Upon further investigation, Ruben Valenica Lopez, 44 of Brenham, was found to be smashing out numerous windows on vehicles and was found forcing entry into one of the vehicles when law enforcement arrived on scene. Lopez was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail and booked in for criminal mischief between $750 and $2,500 and burglary of a motor vehicle.

He needs to pay restitution for all the damage and stress, time off work! Insurance doesn’t cover everything.
