STATE TRACK MEET RESULTS: DAY ONE

UIL STATE TRACK MEET

The UIL State Track Meet got underway in Austin on Thursday with the 3A and 4A events. Here is how the participants from local schools faired: 

CLASS 3A

Hempstead

Kewaylon Wilson finished ninth in the Boys 110 Meter Hurdles with a time of 15.26

CLASS 4A

Bellville

Hunter Kunkel finished third in the Boys 300 Meter Hurdles with a time of 38.47.

D.J. Sanders finished ninth in the Boys Shot Put with a throw of 46 feet, nine inches

La Grange

Austen Diggs finished second in the Boys 100 Meter Dash with a time of 10.43, and finished second in the Boys 200 Meter Dash with a time of 20.77

Macie Collier finished 8^th in the Girls 300 Meter Hurdles with a time of 46.13

Giddings

Kaylon Metcalf finished second in the Girls Shot Put with a throw of 41 feet, 8.5 inches

Sealy

Taniah Coleman finished fourth in the Girls Triple Jump with a distance of 38 feet and 2 ¾ inches, and sixth in the Girls Long Jump with a distance of 17 feet and 7 ¾ inches

Annabelle Williams finished ninth in the Girls 800 Meter Run with a time of two minutes, and 18.65 seconds

Emma Statham finished fourth in the Girls Pole Vault with a height of 11 feet, 6 inches

Ryanne Meyer finished 8^th in the Girls High Jump with a height of 5 feet, 2 inches
