BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED ON WARRANTS

A Brenham man had a warrant arrest made on him Sunday.

Brenham Police report that Sunday morning at 8:20, Officer Nicolas Conforti and Officer Matthew Brown conducted a warrant service in the 400 block of West Vulcan Street.  Jeffrey O'Dell Ellis, 34 of Brenham, was placed under arrest for his warrants Possession of a Controlled Substance and Criminal Trespass issued out of Brazos County.

Then Sunday afternoon at 4:15, Officer Nicholas Conforti conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 1800 block of State Highway 105. The driver, Sharee Whitefield, 33 of Brenham, was found to have six active City of Brenham Municipal Court warrants for her arrest. Whitefield was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Then Sunday evening at 7:55, Officers responded to a Welfare Concern at a residence located in the 1200 block of Main Street. A resident, who was not home, called to report his daughter was being held inside the home an unable to leave freely. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the ex-girlfriend to the caller, Michell Ennette Garcia, 43 of Brenham, and the daughter. Initial investigation led to the arrest of Garci being charged with Burglary Habitation, Interference with Emergency Request for Assistance, and Unlawful Restraint.
