UIL STATE TRACK MEET RESULTS: DAY TWO

The University Interscholastic League (UIL) held day two of their State Track Meet in Austin this past Friday. The day featured the 2A and 5A events.

In Class 2A, the Somerville Yeguas' 4x100 Meter Relay Team was the lone participant from the area at the State Meet. They finished sixth overall with a time of 43.16 seconds.

Meanwhile, the Class 5A State Meet featured several participants from District 21-5A.

For College Station High School, Layni Kaase finished third in the 100 Meter Hurdles with a time of 14.10 seconds, and third in the 300 Meter Hurdles with a time of 43.46 seconds. She was also seventh in the Triple Jump with a distance of 37 feet and 8.25 inches, and ninth in the High Jump with an even five feet.

Delaney Ulrich was 8th in the 1600 Meter Run with a time of five minutes and four seconds, and 7th in the 3200 Meter Run with a time of 11 minutes and 4.85 seconds.

Ella Hawryluk finished in fourth place the Pole Vault with a height of 12 feet even.

For Magnolia High School, Blake Holland finished third in the Boys 100 Meter Dash with a time of 10.54 seconds, and second in the Boys 100 Meter Dash with a time of 21.15 seconds.

For Lake Creek High School, Hailey Johnson finished 3rd in the 800 Meter Run with a time of two minutes and 10.29 seconds.

For A&M Consolidated High School, Hayden Helms finished 7th in the 800 Meter Run with a time of two minutes and 14.16 seconds.

The Rudder High School Team of A'Naiya Kelly, Kimara Maxey, Charity Rayford, and Chasity Rayford finished 8th in the 4x100 Meter Relay with a time of 47.25 seconds, and 3rd in the 4x200 Meter Relay with a time of 1:38.66 seconds.
