UIL GIRLS STATE GOLF TOURNAMENT WRAPS UP
The UIL Girls State Tournament wrapped up yesterday (Tuesday) in Austin. Natalie Nobles of Navasota won the Bronze Medal at the Class 4A Tournament. She entered as an individual medalist. Nobles shot a 75 on the first day and 72 on the second day for a total score of 147.
At the 5A Tournament, Madeline Buckley of Magnolia West finished with the fourth highest individual total. She shot a 71 on the first day and 73 on the second day for a two-day score of 144.
As a team, Lake Creek finished 8th, and Montgomery finished 11th.
In the 3A Tournament, Columbus was 11th overall.
At the 1A Tournament, Angie Lebeouf of Round Top-Carmine was 12th overall. Eva Shaw of Fayetteville was 34th overall.
