WASHINGTON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS HOLDING MEETING & WORKSHOP

  

The Washington County Commissioners Court will hold both their regular meeting and a workshop session coming up this Tuesday.

Commissioners will be hearing quarterly reports from Washington County 911, and the Washington County Expo.

Among the action items is a request for bids for rodeo equipment for the Washington County Expo. If approved, the bids would be due and opened on Friday, May 31, and awarded on Tuesday, June 4.

The Commissioners are also expected to submit a request to the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts for Washington County’s portion of funds due to unclaimed capital credits received by the Comptroller from Electric cooperatives.

After the regular meeting, they will go into a workshop session. One of the items is an After Action Review regarding the EMS response to the DPS facility event.

They are also going to discuss the EMS response to the recent East Texas floods that took place over the past 12 days and their response with Texas Task Force 1.

Other workshop items include the File Storage Facility, the Courthouse Landscape, the EMS Lake Station, and the Jail Kitchen.

The Washington County Commissioners Court meets Tuesday at 9am in the Washington County Courthouse.
