NAVASOTA WATER WELL SAMPLE TESTS NEGATIVE FOR E. COLI

  

A City of Navasota water well is back in service after testing negative for E. coli.

The city says the well was immediately removed from use on Friday after receiving notice that a sample taken from it tested positive for the bacteria.

The city coordinated with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to conduct additional testing.  As of Tuesday, the water well tested negative.
