BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED MONDAY

  

A Brenham man was arrested Monday after a traffic stop. Brenham Police report that Monday night at 11:00, Officer Garrett Downs conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 1300 block of South Day Street. Upon further investigation, the front seat passenger Juan Villanueva, 41 of Brenham, was found to be in possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and possession of an alcoholic beverage container. Villanueva was placed in custody and transported to the Washington County Jail where he was booked in for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. and for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Villanueva was also cited for open container in a motor vehicle.
