BRENHAM POLICE ARREST TWO ON WARRANTS

Two people were arrested on active warrants Wednesday.

Brenham Police report that Wednesday morning at 8:05, responded to a Hit and Run crash located in the 1700 block of South Day Street. Investigation led to the identity of the suspect vehicle which was located a few blocks away. The driver, Anthony Viet Nguyen, 81 of Brenham, was released and a warrant for his arrest was issued for Failure to Comply with Requirements of an Accident Involving Damage to a Vehicle greater than $200.  Wednesday afternoon at 1:20, Nguyen turned himself in to the Brenham Police Department and he was transported to the Washington County Jail.

Then Wednesday night at 10:55, Officer Mark Morales and Corporal Tina Bruno stopped a vehicle in the 1700 block of Highway 105 for a traffic violation. The driver, Kory Everett Kaine, 42 of Brazoria, was discovered to have two active warrants issued out of Brazoria County for Assault Family Violence and Terroristic Threat Cause Fear of Imminent Danger.  Kaine was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail.
