LOCAL MEMORIAL DAY OFFICE CLOSURES

  

Offices in Brenham and Washington County will be closed today (Monday) in observance of Memorial Day.

Brenham City Hall, Brenham Municipal Court, Brenham Animal Services, The Barnhill Center, the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library, the Collection/Transfer and Recycling Station, and all county offices are closed.

Facilities that will be open include the Blue Bell Aquatic Center, which will have hours of 1 to 5 p.m. today and begins summer hours tomorrow (Tuesday).  In addition, the Brenham & Washington County Visitor Center will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and residential and commercial trash services will run as normal. 

The offices of Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative will be closed today.  Members can access their account information and make payments through the co-op’s website, www.bluebonnet.coop, the co-op’s MyBluebonnet mobile app, or by calling 800-842-7708.  Power outages can be reported through the website, the mobile app, or by calling 800-949-4414.  Members enrolled in Bluebonnet’s Outage Alerts can report an outage by texting OUT to 85700.
