BURGLARY SUSPECT ARRESTED IN BELLVILLE ON SATURDAY
Members of the Bellville Police Department and the Austin County Sheriff’s Office arrested a suspect who was wanted in connection with the burglary of two Bellville businesses.
The burglaries occurred during the early morning hours on Friday. Bellville Police say the suspect broke into Brookshire Brothers, and stole a box of donuts.
He also broke into a Texaco station, and stole two packs of cigarettes.
Law Enforcement located the suspect, who was identified as Travis Gilliam, and took him into custody during the evening hours on Saturday.
After running a check, it was also discovered that Gilliam was wanted on four warrants from Brazoria County.
The warrants were for Assault-Family Violence, Aggravated Assault Causing Serious Bodily Injury, Retaliation, and Making a Terroristic Threat.
Gilliam was transported to the Austin County Jail, where he received two additional charges of Burglary of a Building.
