TWO CALLS SUNDAY FOR BRENHAM FIRE DEPT.

  

The Brenham Fire Department was called out twice on Sunday.

Shortly before 2:15 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to the Bluffview Villas, 2699 Schulte Boulevard, for a report of a barbecue pit smoking close to a building.  They arrived to find a small pit in the grassy area between buildings and moved the pit to the concrete before returning to service.

Approaching 8 p.m., the department went out to Christ Lutheran Church, 1104 Carlee Drive, for electric service.  Units made location to find a blown fuse.  They then stood by until the City of Brenham Electric Department arrived on scene before returning to the fire station.
