BRENHAM PD ARRESTS ONE FRIDAY FOR POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, ANOTHER FOR THEFT

  

Two people were arrested Friday in separate incidents.

Brenham Police report that Friday afternoon at 1:15, Officer Conforti conducted a traffic stop in the 1800 block of South Blue Bell Road. Marijuana, Vape Pens, and Suspected THC wax were located in the vehicle during a search. The driver, Miguel Angel Bustos, 26 of Brenham, was placed under arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession Marijuana less than 2 oz. Bustos also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest for a traffic violation issued out of the City of Brenham Municipal Court.  

Then Friday afternoon at 2:40, Officers responded to the 200 block of Highway 290 West in reference to a theft. Investigation revealed Ander Doday Martinez Lobo, 27 of Brenham, stole merchandise. Lobo was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked for Theft of property between $100 and $750.
