ONE PERSON CHARGED WITH ASSAULT

One person was arrested Monday, charged with assault.
Brenham Police report that Monday night at 10:45, Officers were dispatched the 200 block of Highway 290 East in reference to an active physical disturbance between a male and female. Initial investigation revealed the suspect, Zachary Kim Beckham, 63 of Brenham, assaulted another family member. He was charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member and transported to the Washington County Jail.
