BEAUMONT MAN ARRESTED FOR DWI

  

A Beaumont man was arrested early Sunday, charged with DWI.

Brenham Police report that early Sunday morning at 2:20, Officer Garrett Downs conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Riggs Street. Investigation revealed the driver, Erwin Horacio Rodriguez Hernandez, 40 of Beaumont, was intoxicated. Hernandez was placed into custody for Driving While Intoxicated with an Open Container. He was additionally charged with having No Driver’s License and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Then Sunday morning at 8:35, Corporal Buckner conducted a traffic stop in the 2100 block of Highway 290 West. The driver, Natalie Garza, 38 of Houston, was placed into custody for operating a vehicle during a period her driver’s license was under suspension. She was transported to the Washington County Jail where she was booked for Driving while License Invalid.
