THREE ARRESTED ON ACTIVE WARRANTS MONDAY
Three people had warrant arrests made on them in separate incidents Monday.
Brenham Police report that Monday morning at 11:10, Officer Bryan Morong initiated a traffic stop in the 2300 block of South Market Street. The driver, Bobby Ray Stegent, 39 of Washington, had an active warrant out of Burleson County for Theft of Property between $750 and $2500. He was placed into custody and transported to Washington County Jail where he was booked in.
Then Monday afternoon at 3:00, Officers responded to the 800 block of Independence Street in reference to a reported criminal trespass. Investigation revealed Ladarian Dwayne Drake-Jackson, 28 of Brenham, had two active warrants and was taken into custody and transported to Washington County Jail where he was booked in.
Then Monday night at 12:00 midnight, Officers responded to a residence located in the 900 block of Hasskarl Drive in reference to a suspicious person. The caller reporting several teenaged males walking around the parking lot. Upon arrival, officers located a subjected identified as Jaxson Ryan Herring, 18 of Brenham, who was found to have an active warrant for Burglary of Habitation issued by Washington County Justice of the Peace Pct. 3 stemming from a report filed with the Brenham Police Department on June 3rd, 2024 that occurred in the 2400 block of Stone Hollow Drive. He was transported to Washington County Jail where he was booked in.
