CHAPPELL HILL MAN ARRESTED ON MULTIPLE COUNTS

  

A Chappell Hill man was arrested Tuesday on multiple counts.

Brenham Police report that Tuesday evening at 7:45, Officer Nicolas Conforti observed a wanted subject walking in the 400 block of South Market Street. The subject, Richard Earl Knight II, 38 of Chappell Hill, was placed under arrest for the outstanding warrant for Criminal Trespass. During the arrest, Knight assaulted the arresting officer by striking him and resisted arrest. Narcotics were also found on his person during a search incident to arrest. Knight was charged and booked in the Washington County Jail for Possession Controlled Substance, assaulting a Public Servant, Possession Marijuana less than 2 oz, and Resisting Arrest, Search or Transport, and was served on his warrant.
