If you do the crime you will pay f
The time.
Such a simple reply to those that say she shouldn’t have been arrested: she broke the law. At least twice. Dont break the law, no matter how minor it seems, and you usually dont fear getting arrested.
The poor are the ones that suffer so much because they can’t afford simple costs of licence renewals and insurance. Now this woman was arrested and will have even more misery and financial cosys she can’t afford, if she has children she’s supporting they too will suffer there poor moms in jail. I do not believe in jail for traffic crimes ever even failure to appear for a traffic crime. My husband was rear ended in Pasadena the driver had Bo insurance and no licence the police got his information but let him go. The police said they don’t arrest for no drivers license anymore he was allowed to drive away. So I’m confused.
She had a warrant out for her arrest.
It costs more to be in debt than it does to stay squared away. There are alternatives to driving on a suspended license with an active warrant. Licenses don’t get suspended over nothing, and you will have a warrant if you do nothing. Contact the clerk or see the judge and make some kind of arrangement.
There is a difference in driving with a suspended license and driving with no drivers license. A license could be under suspensions for several reasons, ranging from having too many tickets in a certain period of time to being suspended for a DWI. And to clear up some of your confusion, the first offense for driving while license suspended is a citation. The second time, it becomes enhanced and is a class B Misdemeanor, which is a jailable offense. So this lady had already been convicted of the offense before and continued to drive with a suspended license. She had been written a citation for Fail to Maintain Financial Responsibility (no insurance) and did not pay the citation, therefore a warrant was issued. Bottom line, if you don’t break the traffic laws, you won’t be issued citations.
Why arrest a woman for these infractions when there are rapists and murderers running around Houston??
