Shortly after 3:15 p.m., Brenham Police Crime Reduction Unit Investigator Armando Guerra met with 20-year-old Aaron Albert Moreno at the Washington County Jail in reference to a warrant service.

Police served warrants for Money Laundering $2,500 - $30,000, Possession of Marijuana 5 – 50 lbs., and two counts of Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance.

The warrants were issued as part of an ongoing investigation by the Crime Reduction Unit linked to the search warrant execution last Thursday at two addresses, located in the 1500 block of Wyandotte Lane and the 1100 block of Prairie Lea Street.  Police say they recovered narcotics, drug paraphernalia and weapons during the searches.

20-year-old Favian Sanchez of Brenham was arrested during the initial operation on the same charges faced by Moreno.

Brenham police conducted the operation with assistance from the Blinn College Police Department, Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Burleson County Sheriff’s Office, Texas Parks & Wildlife Division, and Washington County EMS.
