FREEDOM FEST IN GIDDINGS ON WEDNESDAY

  

Lee County residents are gearing up for Fourth of July festivities at the Giddings Freedom Fest.

The event is set for Wednesday from 6 to 10 p.m. at Veterans Park, 200 Raymond Street.

The Texas Unlimited Band and Lost Cause Band will provide entertainment all evening long.  The splash pad will be open to cool off visitors, and there will be food trucks, vendors, cornhole and pickleball.

Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and snacks.
