LOCAL OFFICES TO CLOSE FOR FOURTH OF JULY

  

Brenham and Washington County offices will close on Thursday to celebrate the Fourth of July.

Independence Day closures will include Brenham City Hall, Brenham Municipal Court, Brenham Animal Services, the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library, the Collection/Transfer and Recycling Station, and all county offices.  

The Blue Bell Aquatic Center will have all pools open on Thursday with hours of 1 to 5 p.m.  The Brenham & Washington County Visitor Center will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  In addition, residential and commercial trash pick-up will run on a normal schedule.

The offices of Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative will be closed on Thursday.  Members can access their account information and make payments through the co-op’s website, www.bluebonnet.coop, the co-op’s MyBluebonnet mobile app, or by calling 800-842-7708.  Power outages can be reported through the website, the mobile app, or by calling 800-949-4414.  Members enrolled in Bluebonnet’s Outage Alerts can report an outage by texting OUT to 85700.
