GIDDINGS SELECTED TO RECEIVE T-MOBILE HOMETOWN GRANT
Giddings is the recipient of one of 25 T-Mobile Hometown Grants awarded across the country.
Giddings will receive $37,076 to build an informational and interactive digital kiosk at Veterans Park, serving as a location finder for the Veterans Honor Wall and search tool for available community resources, services and events.
The check presentation will be made Wednesday night at Veterans Park, during the Giddings Freedom Fest event.
T-Mobile awards grants of up to $50,000 to support local development projects in communities of 50,000 people or less.
Since the program began in April 2021, the company has awarded over $13 million in Hometown Grants to 300 communities across 47 states.
