BRENHAM POLICE MAKE ARREST FRIDAY ON CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE CHARGE

One person was arrested Friday in Brenham on a controlled substance charge.
Brenham Police report that Friday morning at 9:10, Corporal Tina Bruno conducted a traffic stop in the 2000 block of Highway 290 West for a vehicle violation. The driver, David Moises Vallecillo Cruz, 38 of Del Valle, was placed under arrest for an active warrant out of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security for Conspiracy to Possess with the Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance. Cruz was transported to the Washington County Jail where he was booked in.
