ONE CALL WEDNESDAY FOR BRENHAM FIRE DEPT.
The Brenham Fire Department responded to a fire alarm call on Wednesday.
Just before 3:45 p.m., units were dispatched to Walmart, 203 US Highway 290 West, for a report of a fire alarm sounding.
Nothing was showing from the exterior of the building. Firefighters would later find a small water leak on their system and advised the store manager to have an alarm company come out to repair it.
The department then returned to service.
