LITTLE LEAGUE ALL-STAR SECTION 1 TOURNAMENTS

MINOR GIRLS SOFTBALL IN ELGIN

Burleson County beat Elgin 13-0 to sweep the tournament 2-0. Burleson County now moves on to the Texas East State Little League Tournament. Their first game is going to be Friday night at 8pm against the Section 3 winner.

MAJOR GIRLS SOFTBALL IN SCHULENBURG

Columbus defeated Bastrop 10-0 to sweep the tournament 2-0. Columbus now moves on to the Texas East State Little League Tournament. Their first game is going to be Friday night at 8pm against the Section 3 winner.

MAJOR BOYS IN AUSTIN

Elgin shutout Bellville 10-0 in the tournament semifinals. Elgin now advances to face Lufkin for the tournament championship. The championship is tentatively scheduled for tonight (Monday) at 6pm, with an "if necessary" game at 8pm.
