TXDOT NOW TAKING COMMENTS FOR ITS UNIFIED TRANSPORTATION PLAN

The Texas Department of Transportation is seeking feedback on their record breaking 10-year transportation plan.

The Unified Transportation Plan (UTP) proposes spending $104.2 billion on potential projects in communities across the state.

According to TxDOT, the UTP provides a road map to develop projects around Texas to improve safety, address congestion and connectivity, and preserve roadways for Texas drivers.

A virtual public meeting was held last Tuesday.  It was recorded and can be seen on the TxDOT website.

The public comment period started this past Friday and is scheduled to last until August 5 at 4pm.

Public comments can be made using their on-line comment form.

In addition to that, you can send an e-mail  UTP-PublicComments@txdot.gov, or call 1-800-433-4842.

Comments may also be sent by regular mail to:
