BRENHAM NATIVE PROMOTED TO PRINCIPAL AT WALLER ISD

  

A former Brenham High School graduate has been named as the new Principal at Schultz Junior High in Waller.

After serving as an assistant principal on the Schultz campus since April 2022, Heather Myers was promoted to principal.

Myers has an Associate’s Degree in Biology from Blinn College, a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Houston, and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from UT-Tyler.

Prior to coming to Waller, her educational career included stops in Brenham, Tomball, Hempstead, and Cy-Fair.

She and her husband Phillip have three children: Hunter, Presley, and Easton.

Myers said that she is absolutely thrilled to begin her new role as the new Schultz Junior High principal, and that she eager to continue the campus's path to greatness while fostering a safe and positive community for student growth.

Waller ISD Chief of Secondary Schools Bennie Mayes said that Myers is all about kids and teachers.

Mays added he is confident that under Mrs. Myers’ leadership, Schultz Junior High will continue to grow and accomplish great things.
