BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES

A Brenham man was arrested early Thursday after a traffic stop.
Brenham Police report that early Thursday morning at 3:50, officer Nicolas Conforti conducted a traffic stop at East Academy Street and Gay Hill Street. Investigation led to the arrest of the passenger, Anthony Lee Vela, 35 of Brenham, for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Dangerous Drug.
