FORGERY, CRIMINAL TRESPASS AMONG CHARGES LISTED IN THREE WEEKEND ARRESTS FOR BRENHAM PD

  

Three people face various charges after their arrest this weekend by Brenham police.

Elmer Javier Canales Garcia
(Washington Co. Jail)

At 10:30 p.m. Friday, Officer Garrett Downs was dispatched to the 1800 block of Longwood Drive in reference to a crash.  Investigation determined a vehicle occupied by three men struck another vehicle from behind, and all three men fled from the scene.  One of them was located and identified as 34-year-old Javier Garcia of Honduras.  He was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail for Public Intoxication, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, and two counts of Forgery of a Government or National Instrument, Money or Security. 

Justin Orlando Daniels

At 9:45 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to the 200 block of Highway 290 West for a report of criminal trespass.  After investigation, it was found that 35-year-old Justin Daniels of Brenham was on location with an active criminal trespass warning and allegedly stole merchandise.  Daniels was taken into custody for Criminal Trespass and cited for Theft of Property Under $100.

Jaytaylor Anderson

Shortly after 11:15 a.m. Sunday, Officer Stephen Mosley was called to the 400 block of Highway 290 West in reference to a complainant.  Investigation revealed that 18-year-old Jaytaylor Anderson of Katy had an active warrant out of Harris County.  Anderson was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.  While at the jail, he was found to be in possession of marijuana.  He was booked in for his warrant and for Prohibited Substance or Item in a Correctional Facility.
