WASHINGTON CO. LADIES LIONS CLUB HONORS 2023-24 AWARD WINNERS
The Washington County Ladies Lions Club presented its yearly awards on Monday to outstanding members.

Enid Kocian and Bette Tofel were chosen as the 2023-24 Co-Lions of the Year. Charlotte Mulligan and Ann Gaskamp were named the Co-Rookies of the Year.
Honorees received a personalized trophy, a pin from Lions Club International and flowers.

Sixteen Lions received a pin to commemorate their perfect attendance for the past year. They are Janna Alsobrook, Misti Corn, DeDe Eastveld, Sherry Fritz, Barbara Hemmer, Judy Hulsey, Peggy Kramer, Enid Kocian, Linda Kocian, Sherry Kruger, Charlotte Mulligan, Linda Oberhoff, Cindy Schaper, Thresia Schlabach, Bette Tofel and Sheila Webb.
Also at Monday’s meeting, the club presented checks of $5,000 each to Brenham NEXT and Texas Lions Camp. The donation comes from proceeds raised by the club during its drawing fundraiser.
