The Peter, Paul and Mary Alive show will bring back the American Folk Music Revival phenomenon on Saturday, August 17th at 7 p.m.

The Barnhill Center producer Sharon Brass says the show recreates the look, feel and sound of the original group with “impeccable accuracy.”  She says, “The show energizes and engages audiences with unforgettable music, humor and fun stories.”

Peter, Paul and Mary Alive will perform hits such as Puff the Magic Dragon, If I Had a Hammer, Where Have All the Flowers Gone, Blowin’ in the Wind, Don’t Think Twice, It’s Alright and Lemon Tree.

The original Peter, Paul and Mary took over the social commentary of Folk music in the 1960s, becoming a worldwide sensation.  They were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 1999, and in 2006 they received the Sammy Cahn Lifetime Achievement Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Peter, Paul and Mary Alive is made up of Peter Gordon, who portrays Peter Yarrow; Dutch Clapp, singing the part of Noel Paul Stookey; and Joanie Brown, playing Mary Travers.
