TWO CALLS MONDAY, ONE EARLY TUESDAY FOR BRENHAM FIRE DEPT.
The Brenham Fire Department responded to two calls on Monday and one early this (Tuesday) morning.
Approaching 10 a.m. Monday, the department went out to Belle Towers, 696 North Market Street, for a fire alarm. Units made location and found they were just testing the alarm, so they returned to service.
Shortly before 5:45 p.m., firefighters were called to another fire alarm, this one at the Brenham State Supported Living Center at 4001 Highway 36 South. However, they were cancelled enroute due to proper code being given.
At 12:45 a.m. today, BFD members responded to a crash without entrapment on Highway 290 at Old Mill Creek. They provided traffic control and performed fluid mitigation. Once the vehicle was removed from the roadway, units cleared the scene.
