BRENHAM SCHOOL BOARD TO MEET FRIDAY
The Brenham School Board has called a special meeting for Friday morning.
The lone item for consideration is an agreement for the purchase of attendance credits and delegating contractual authority to the superintendent.
The item pertains to property-wealthy districts and allows the ability for the superintendent to negotiate with the Texas Education Agency, should the district end up needing to pay money back to the state through recapture.
The board will meet Friday at 8:30 a.m. in the Brenham ISD Administration Office.
