BRENHAM, BURTON IN TOURNAMENT PLAY THIS WEEKEND

The Brenham Cubettes are taking part in the Round Rock Westwood Warrior Showcase Tournament.

The tournament begins today (Thursday) and runs through Saturday at various schools across the Austin area. 

Today’s (Thursday's) pool play games will be played at Cedar Ridge High School. The Cubettes are scheduled to face Manor at 1pm, Willis at 3pm, and New Braunfels at 5pm.

Meanwhile, the Burton Lady Panthers are taking part in the Columbus Tournament later today (Thursday). 

Pool play begins this (Thursday) afternoon with Burton facing Brazos Wallis at 2pm, La Grange at 4pm, and Columbus at 7pm.

In other action: 

Bellville, A&M Consolidated, and College Station are taking part in the Katy/Cy Fair Tournament.

Sealy will be joining Columbus, Burton, Brazos Wallis, La Grange, and Round Top-Carmine at the Columbus Tournament.

Navasota hosts the Navasota Tournament, which will also feature Somerville and Snook.

Anderson-Shiro and Iola will be taking part in the Fairfield Tournament.

Bryan will be at the John Turner Classic in Pearland.

Rudder is taking part in the Tyler ISD Tournament.

Caldwell is at the Leon Tournament.

Giddings will be at the Leander/Georgetown Tournament.
