“MEET THE CUBS” NIGHT SCHEDULED FOR AUGUST 21

  

The public is invited to kickoff the Fall Sports season with “Meet the Cubs” Night next week.

“Meet the Cubs” Night is being held on Wednesday, August 21, at Cub Stadium in Brenham beginning at 7pm.

Family, friends, and fans can meet the players on the fall sports teams such as football, volleyball, cross country, and tennis.

There will also be performances by the Brenham Cub Marching Band, the Brenham High School Cheerleaders, and the Brenham Belles.

The Booster Club is going to have their trailer on hand with new Cub merchandise for the upcoming season.

KWHI’s Doug Brown will serve as the Master of Ceremonies.

Courtney Cartwright, from our sister station KTEX 106, will be broadcasting live in the KTEX Country Cruiser.  The broadcast is sponsored by Mr. Gatti’s Pizza, Blue Bell, and Brenham National Bank.
