NINE PEOPLE SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT

  

9 people plead guilty in District Court this week and were sentenced by Judge J.D. Langley.

Gene Edward Freeman, III, 19 of Brenham, was sentenced to 10 years in State Jail for Robbery.

Tyler Contreras, 29 of Austin, was sentenced to 8 years in State Jail for Evading Arrest with a Vehicle.

Kevin Kyle Weiss, 36 of Brenham, was sentenced to 8 years in State Jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Kevionne Obrienae Jefferson, 33 of Bryan, was sentenced to 7 years in State Jail for Driving While Intoxicated, 3 or More Offenses.  

Ryan Thomas Ramirez, 29 of Lyons, was sentenced to 4 years in State Jail for Fraudulent Use or Possession of Identifying Info.  He was also sentenced to 6 months in State Jail for Forgery of the Elderly.

Braelyn Bimage, 17of Brenham, was sentenced to 3 years in prison for Evading Arrest with Vehicle.  He was also sentenced to 9 months in State Jail for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.

Kenneth John Lemire, 47 of Brenham, was sentenced to 5 years’ probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance.  He was also ordered to pay a $500 fine, and perform 100 hours of community service.

Dolores Victoria Rivera, 42 of Big Springs, was sentenced to 4 years deferred adjudication probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Abandonment or Endangering of a Child.  She was also ordered to perform 100 hours of community service.

Minnie Jefferson, 56 of Brenham, was sentenced to 2 years deferred adjudication probation for Injury to a Disabled Individual.  She was also ordered to pay a $500 fine, perform 100 hours of community service, and have no contact with victim.
