SHINER CATHOLIC CHURCH FALL PICNIC SEPT. 1
The Shiner Catholic Church’s 103rd annual fall picnic is set for Labor Day weekend.
The Shiner KC Park at 102 South Avenue G will have food, games, live music and many other activities to take part in on Sunday, September 1st.
Meals of picnic stew, fried chicken, country sausage and all the trimmings will be served starting at 10:30 a.m., dine-in or drive-thru. Burgers will be served in the afternoon and evening.
Entertainment will be provided all day long by groups such as the Pivo and Polka Band, the Shiner Hobo Band, Fritz Hodde, Reagan Hicks, the Long Shot Band, toLoveandRescue, Robert Casanova, Bill Pekar & The Rainey Brothers, and The Emotions.
The picnic will also have a big country auction, cattle auction, country store, drawings, carnival games, mechanical bull riding and face painting.
