TOP BEATLES PRODUCTION COMING TO THE BARNHILL CENTER SEPT. 7
An acclaimed Beatles tribute group will soon appear at The Barnhill Center in downtown Brenham.
Liverpool Legends will perform on Saturday, September 7th at 7 p.m. The four members of Liverpool Legends were hand-picked by Louise Harrison, the sister of the late George Harrison of the Beatles, making them the only Beatles tribute band with a direct family connection and endorsement.
Louise Harrison says the group’s members “are exactly the kind of professional, fun-loving musicians that my brother George loved to hang out with.” The Barnhill Center producer Sharon Brass says they “cover all eras of the Beatles’ career with meticulous accuracy.”
Liverpool Legends recorded and produced all the Beatles songs for the collaborative album with Louise Harrison, “Fab Fan Memories”, which was nominated for a Grammy Award.
The band has headlined its own show in Branson, Missouri since 2005. It was awarded “Tribute Show of the Year”, “Best Show”, Best Band” and the “Visitors’ Choice Award for Entertainer of the Year”.
The group received national attention when it recreated the Beatles’ famous 1966 concert at Busch Stadium in St. Louis. It also headlined at Carnegie Hall in New York City, where the Beatles performed in 1964 after appearing for the first time on the Ed Sullivan Show. In addition, the band has headlined at the Rose Bowl four times, performing for over 160,000 people at a time.
