BRENHAM FIRE DEPT. RESPONDS TO CRASH, THREE ALARM CALLS MONDAY

The Brenham Fire Department assisted at the scene of an accident Monday afternoon.

Just before 5 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to Marie Street and East Tom Green Street for a report of a transportation incident.  They arrived on location to find a two-vehicle accident.

Units checked for injuries and found one driver needing first aid, so they helped EMS with the patient.  They also checked for fluids and found none.  The department then cleared the scene.

BFD members were called out three more times on Monday, all for alarms at the Brenham State Supported Living Center, 4001 Highway 36 South.  The calls came in between roughly 4:15 and 5:30 p.m., and proper code was given for cancellation for each call.
