BRENHAM MAN CHARGED WITH ASSAULT

  

A Brenham man was arrested early Tuesday morning, charged with assault.

Brenham Police report that early Tuesday morning at 1:40, Officers were dispatched to a residence located in the 700 block of Matilda Street in reference to a disturbance. Investigation revealed, Francisco Javier Pineda-Salgado, 41 of Brenham, assaulted another family member and threatened to kill them while holding a knife. Salgado was located by officers and placed in custody for Aggravated Assault with a Weapon, and transported to the Washington County Jail.
