UNITY THEATRE KICKING OFF 30TH ANNIVERSARY SEASON WITH ‘ALWAYS A BRIDESMAID’
Unity Theatre in Brenham will soon raise the curtain on the first show of its 30th anniversary season.
“Always a Bridesmaid”, a comedy by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten, will play on Unity’s Main Stage from September 26 to October 13.
The production follows four friends who made a promise on the night of their senior prom to be in each other’s weddings, no matter what. Decades later, they are still determined to honor their vows, despite a runaway bride and the unfortunate release of a flock of white doves on the first day of hunting season.
Performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays, 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 2 p.m. on Sundays.
The performance schedule includes a preview show on Thursday, September 26th, where audience members can participate in a talkback session with the cast and crew after the show ends. There will also be a director’s chat before the performance on Saturday, October 5th.
Circle reservations open on Tuesday. Subscriber reservations start on September 9th, and public sales will open on September 16th.
