BURTON SCHOOL BOARD TO HEAR REPORTS, DISCUSS GUARDIAN PROGRAM
The Burton School Board plans to receive several reports at its meeting this (Monday) evening.
Trustees are slated to hear appraisal information from Washington County Chief Appraiser Dyann White and tax collection information from an attorney with Perdue Brandon Fielder Collins & Mott, LLP. In addition, they will go over preliminary STAAR assessment results and receive a bond construction update.
A dedicated discussion item is listed on the agenda for the school district’s Guardian safety program.
In action items, the board will vote on the districtwide and campus improvement plans, a three-year agreement with CR Texas for the district’s fuel, and a resolution relating to a delinquent property tax collection contract with Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP.
An executive session may be held for the board to consult with an attorney and to discuss personnel, security and real property.
The board will meet this evening at 6 p.m. in the Burton ISD cafeteria.
