TWO HAVE WARRANT ARRESTS

  

Two people had warrant arrests made on them over the weekend.

Brenham Police report that Friday afternoon at 3:40, Officers responded to the 200 block U.S. Highway 290 east in reference to a welfare concern of a possible assault. Leigh Anne Cavner was placed under arrest for active warrants for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Theft of Property between $100 and $750, and Motion to Revoke Probation. Cavner was transported to the Jail and booked in on the outstanding warrants.

Then early Sunday morning at 12:20, Officer Grayson Marburger conducted a traffic stop in the 1600 block of South Day Street. The driver, identified as Roderick Hill Jr., 31 of Waller, was found to have an active warrant for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon - Family Violence issued out of Waller County District Court. Hill was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.
