CHAPPELL HILL HOSTING “AIRING OF THE QUILTS” THIS WEEKEND

  

Visitors are invited to downtown Chappell Hill for the annual “Airing of the Quilts” this coming Saturday.                                           

According to Event Chair Dale Ramey, this unique event provides visitors from throughout Texas an opportunity to come visit their community, while enjoying the timeless art of quilting.

Quilts will be on display throughout the town for all to enjoy, and some of the quilts are going to be put up for sale.

Guests are going to be able to visit the shops in downtown, as well as the Chappell Hill Historical Society Museum, and the Texas Star Winery, while enjoying handmade quilts.

There is also going to be a private collection of quilts and linens on display at the Hubert Masonic Lodge.

In addition to that, the Friendship Quilt Guild will have quilts on display in the Providence Baptist Church.

Maps will be available at the Chappell Hill Visitors Center and Chamber Office located at 5145 Main Street.

The event is scheduled to last from 11am to 4pm.
