HOUSTON MAN ARRESTED AFTER PARKS CHECK

  

A Houston man was arrested early Tuesday after a parks check.

Brenham Police report that early Tuesday morning at 1:45, Officer Grayson Marburger conducted a parks check in the 1300 South Jackson Street and located three subjects in the park after hours. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that Tyler Harris, 21 of Houston, was in possession of narcotics and placed in custody for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. in a Drug Free Zone and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Harris was transported to the Washington County Jail.
