BRENHAM MAN CHARGED WITH ASSAULT

A Brenham man was arrested Tuesday, charged with assault.
Brenham Police report that Tuesday afternoon at 3:35, Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of North Park Street in reference to a verbal disturbance. Investigation revealed that Charles Wayne Compton, 22 of Brenham, brandished a knife and threatened the victim. Compton was placed in custody for Aggravated Assault with A Deadly Weapon and transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.
