AUSTIN CO. TO HOST ELECTIONS WORKSHOPS

  

Austin County will hold a series of workshops to showcase how the county conducts elections.

The free workshops are open to the public and will help enhance citizens’ understanding of operations at the Austin County Elections Office.

Workshops are scheduled for:

  • September 16th at 2 p.m. at Gordon Memorial Library, 917 North Circle Drive in Sealy.
  • September 18th at 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. at Industry City Hall, 725 Main Street.
  • October 2nd at 10 a.m. at the Austin County Annex, 804 East Wendt Street in Bellville.
  • October 3rd at 6 p.m. at the Wallis Columbus Club Hall, 703 Columbus Road in Wallis. 

Topics will include poll pad check-ins, voter registration, ballot-by-mail voting, suspense voters, tabulating results, and a mock election opportunity.
