BRENHAM MAN CHARGED WITH DWI

A Brenham man was arrested Thursday, charged with DWI.
Brenham Police report that Thursday night at 8:30, Officers responded to a report of a reckless driver in the 1500 block of South Market Street. The vehicle was located in the area and stopped in the 900 block of South Market Street. The driver, Claudio Lopez Zavala, 53 of Brenham, exhibited signs of being intoxicated. Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered and due to Zavala’s performance, he was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated, 2nd offense.
