TWO CALLS THURSDAY FOR BRENHAM FIRE DEPT.

The Brenham Fire Department was called out twice on Thursday.

At 6:30 a.m., firefighters received a report of a transportation incident in the 1600 block of South Day Street.  There, they found a two-vehicle accident with no fluids leaking.  The department cleaned the roadway off and returned to service after both vehicles were moved to a parking lot.

Around 4:45 p.m., units were dispatched to Rodeo Bingo, 2202 South Chappell Hill Street, for a fire alarm sounding.  BFD members were enroute when proper code was given for cancellation, so they returned to the station.
